What is the most important nutrient?

Though there are several important nutrients, the most important of them is protein. It helps maintain the structure of hair, skin, and nails while being involved in the production of enzymes that catalyze biochemical reactions throughout the body. Protein is also necessary for other processes like metabolism, growth and development, cell division, and transporting substances through membranes in cells. Even though protein is not a cure-all nutrient, it can greatly promote health in general and overall well-being.

What is one of your favorite fruits?

Mangoes are my favorite fruit. They're sweet and juicy, but they have a little bit of tartness to them that makes them a lot more interesting than other fruits. They're very versatile, too. Even though they have a strong flavor on their own, they blend into smoothies really well and can be used to make nice marinades for meat or fish. You can even make a mango salsa that includes mango puree, jalapenos, onions, cilantro, lime juice, and garlic. It's yummy with tortilla chips or grilled fish or chicken. Mangos are so versatile because they're also great for dessert. They can be made into ice cream, sorbet, pudding, or pie. If you're feeling adventurous, there are also several recipes for savory dishes using mangos: mango chutney, mango salsa Verde and mango-pineapple salsa are all delicious ways to eat mangos while still keeping it light and healthy!
